Hi, I’m Emily!
My pronouns are she/her.
Music has been a part of my life since I was very young. I started piano lessons with my mother when I was five years old, and later graduated from Concordia College-Moorhead with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance.
I’ve had rich and varied experiences performing chamber music, solo repertoire, and collaborating with soloists and choirs.
I owe part of my musical growth to my time to studying piano at the Adamant Music School and St. Olaf Piano Academy, as well as jamming with my friends on guitar and mandolin, and hundreds of hours of practice.
I also work as a composer, collaborative pianist, and church musician. I love to work with students of all ages and learning stages, and believe that the study of music helps develop the whole individual.
I’m a proud member of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association and the American Composers Forum.
